Super Creamy Hummus
The combination of the chick peas and cannellini beans makes for an incredibly creamy and light colored hummus. This dip is incredibly versatile, great with tortilla chips, crackers and vegetables. I spread it on sandwiches, bagels and wraps.
Ingredients
- 1 15.5 oz. can of chick peas (rinsed and drained)
- ½ cup white cannellini beans (rinsed and drained)
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 teaspoons tahini paste
- 2 Tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp water
- pinch of salt
- sprinkle of pine nuts
- 1 tsp olive oil
Optional Garnish:
Instructions
- Combine the chick peas, cannellini beans, olive oil, tahini paste, lemon juice, garlic and water in your food processor fitted with a blade attachment and puree until creamy.
- About 1-2 minutes. Then salt to taste and pulse to incorporate.
- Garnish suggestions: Make a slight well in the center and fill with quality olive oil and pine nuts.
